In the blink of an eye!

The other day was my wonderful friend Susie's birthday.
So as a gift I drew and stitched her a picture.
Susie has a dachshund called Bentley.
He is much sweeter than this one.
But he was created with love and has pride of place in her workroom.
He came and left me in the blink of an eye.
Happy Bank Holiday.

Sadsack went at the beginning of the week.
Now American Bob and the Starcrossed lovers have also left me!
I am sad, but also happy that they have good homes.

American Bob will be moving to London.
He will be keeping a graphic designer company.
Star-Crossed duo will be going to Brighton.
They will be sharing a house with Mr and Mrs Fensome.
I know they will be loved and cared for.

Best In Show Closed!!!

This is just a quick up date.
Thanks to everyone that came by the show this week.
You made me feel very happy that I got it together to do it!
I've had such a lovely week.
I'm really sad that it's over.
Still I reckon it's the first of many.
Think this is what I was meant to do!

I'll be announcing the Best In Show winner and runners up later in the week.

Whilst in the space to keep myself amused I drew.
Thought they could be the next group that I embroider.
The mutts below have all found new homes to go to.
I'm sure they will be very happy

Best In Show Opening

Well, what can I say other than it's been great, so far.
Thank you to everyone that turned up on the Private View night.
Thank you for all you kind and encouraging words.
Thank you for given a few dog's some great homes.
And to a friend from a far for giving a sash and a trophy a place in a New York apartment!!
It's been better than I could have hoped.
I'm just delighted I got my act together and did it.
Can't wait for the next venture!!
So,
"Sadsack" has a new home as does "Hatman aka American Bob"
Brilliant, I know they will be very happy.

The day has arrived.
I'm putting the show up today.
I'm excited.
I've had a whole range of emotions regarding it.
Excited, nervous, anxious, thinking what the heck!!
Now I'm back to excited, happy and pleased to have done it.

Been to busy preparing!

It's been a long time!

Over a week since my last blog entry.
That's the longest time for a while.
I've just been busy, busy.
A few minor stresses but I can see light and I'm back to feeling excited about the show again.
